Kornati National Park's distinctly harsh landscape will complement Krka National Park's spectacular series of rugged canyons, azure waters and tumbling waterfalls on this exhilarating adventure trip.
This trip will give you
- The experience of paddling in one of the world's most beautiful bodies of water, the Croatian Adriatic
- The opportunity to explore remote islands and reefs
- A deeper insight into Croatia's eight protected National Parks, teeming with a diverse variety of fauna and flora
Upon touchdown in Zadar, you'll be whisked away by a private speedboat to your adventure tour starting point. Fully kitted out, you'll follow your regional expert and begin exploring the unpopulated archipelago of 152 islands - the densest group of islands in the whole of the Mediterranean.
En route to the different islands, you'll stop off at fishermen's huts and catch your own fish for dinner, served the way locals like it best with a little sea salt and organic olive oil. With early morning briefings, you'll make the most of every day in Croatia and constantly find yourself in different settings; from rustic grape and olive tree groves, the wilderness of the open ocean and coral reefs, to hiking trails and pebbled coves.
A medieval town protected by a fort with 32 canons will welcome you next on your active tour of Croatia. You'll then continue kayaking through the mouth of the river until you reach the trip's final National Park. Bursting with endemic and protected species, you'll hike amongst lakes and across small wooden bridges, before being instantly enchanted by its famous waterfalls.
