Dalmatia - 10 days
Split, Hvar, Korčula, Dubrovnik
Essence of the trip
This multi-stop Dalmatian rhapsody is aimed at adventurous travelers with a strong sense of wanderlust. You'll fly to the town with a past spanning over a millennia and a half to spend a few nights in the Roman Emperor's Palace before heading to the islands and finishing off in Dubrovnik.
This trip will give you
- The perfect balance between culture and adventure, accompanied with pampering indulgence
- The experience of travelling by hydroplane to the celebrity island hangout of Hvar, where you'll hit the wine road and discover some of the country's best reds
- Bubbles and breathtaking sunsets as you sail to the island of Korcula - the perfect antidote to hip Hvar. You'll stay at the luxurious Lešic Dimitri Palace and enjoy incredible Croatian hospitality and gourmet cuisine in its high-end restaurant
Split is your forst destination and you'll truly get to know this vibrant, ancient city and explore its maze of passages and fishermen's stone houses. You'll then leave the bustling city behind and head for the islands with hydroplane. Hvar, famous for its wild parties and endless fields of lavender, will unveil its wine roads next, so get ready to sample some award-winning reds.
The island of Korcula, voted by Forbes as one of the most romantic exotic-island hideaways to visit in 2015 will be your next stop. Its rich history will also have you spellbound, as it's the hometown of the 13th-century explorer, Marco Polo. Step back in time and visit the Marco Polo museum to find out more about one of the first and most famous European to travel the Silk Road during the Middle Ages - a 24 year journey that took him all the way to China and Mongolia.
Your voyage will come to a beautiful end in the ‘Pearl of the Adriatic', Dubrovnik. We recommend heading to the summit of Mount Srd at sunset and celebrating in style with champagne and seafood on the restaurant terrace.
